It was a pretty average three stage interview, first a phone call, then a teams interview, and lastly an in person interview. It wasn't too hard or difficult. After submitting my application with resume and cover letter, there was an initial screening which was a phone or video call with a recruiter to check basic qualifications and motivation. Then a first interview which could be video or in person, focusing on behavioral questions about past experiences or technical questions depending on the role. If applicable, there might be an assessment like a take-home assignment or case study to test job-specific skills. Finally, there were second or final interviews which could involve multiple interviewers for a deeper dive into expertise and cultural fit.

The interview process was standard with many questions. It's better to be overprepared than underprepared! The interviewer was friendly and asked great questions. Some questions were to get to know me and see if I would fit in with the company.

They have 2 interviews, but they really like it if you're referred by someone who works here already. The first chat is with the manager, and then you'll talk to the broker(s). They really want to know about your IIROC license and what you've done to help out other brokers.
