The interview process for the Business Analyst Coop position at Microsoft was online and lasted 30 minutes. There were two interviewers. I waited about 1 to 2 weeks to get the interview. It didn't have too many regular behavior questions.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. I really enjoyed it because of my tech knowledge. It was supposed to be 45 minutes but went for about an hour. There were two rounds, each an hour long. The first was with the hiring manager and the second was with the team I'd be working with on a project.

Behavioral Technical

It was pretty straightforward. First round was a digital assessment with no interviewer, just pure behavioural questions. Second round was with a manager and the questions were directly related to my past experience and how it relates to this job. The key to doing well is to know your relevant experiences and shape them in a way that suits the job description. Study the responsibilities and requirements, know yourself, and you will do good.

  • Tell me about a time you made an error and what was the outcome?
  • How do you approach tasks that are repetitive?
  • What is your strategy for working remotely?
