Technical Support Engineer
Bad experience with BMC. HR sent an MCQ test link even though the job description wasn't relevant to my experience. I took the test and got 90% right. They then asked for my current and expected salary. A week later, HR said they couldn't proceed because my test score and profile didn't meet their expectations.
- Easy MCQ questions were asked, and they were very basic.
Technical Support Engineer
So the interview was pretty structured and professional. It began with an assessment, and then there was an interview. They asked about tech troubleshooting, how to talk to customers, and just like, situational stuff. The interviewers were nice and let me take my time. I didn't get the job, but it was good to learn more about the role.
- What would you do if you were leading a team and they weren't performing?
Technical Support Engineer
First there was a phone screen, then 2 technical rounds with Lead TSAs, and finally a manager round which was also technical. I heard back after 6-7 days and had to chase HR for updates.
- Could you answer some hardcore Remedy questions, along with questions on Unix and Linux?
