The process started with a screen call, followed by interviews with senior management and then team members. After finishing all the calls, the recruiter unofficially let me know I got the job. The offer and contract were supposed to be sent out in a few days, but they never arrived. I waited another week, and still nothing. I emailed the recruiter, who apologized for the delay and said senior management should have contacted me, which I found odd since that's usually the recruiter's job. The recruiter continued to ghost me. I tried calling and connecting on LinkedIn with both the recruiter and management for an update, but got no response. This showed very poor business ethics from everyone involved. My advice is to avoid this company if this is how they treat potential employees.

Behavioral Technical

BMC's hiring process is known as one of the toughest in the industry, but for good reason. Passing it means you'll be working with highly professional individuals who consistently deliver results. If you're not up to par, you might not feel like you fit in or succeed in that driven environment, and likely won't stay. The structured hiring process is one of the best self-analysis and development exercises I've ever done.

The interview process was quick and effective, featuring great conversations about the BMC world and the onboarding plan. The people I met were excellent, providing a positive candidate experience with consistent and transparent communication throughout. I really enjoyed interacting with the manager, who is young and highly skilled.
