Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was a long and twisting interview process, a real Account Manager story. It was a 7-round process using outdated tactics. You'll meet a lot of people, none of whom will impress you, but they will interrogate you almost rudely. They want to see how you react to insults. You'll have to do the merry champion dance and talk to everyone possible to prove you can get the money. There's a psychometric test done by an internal recruiter with no psychology background. Then a final presentation that could be weeks after the previous stage. The time commitment is unreasonable, impacting your current job significantly. They question your dedication if you take a call on a train or can't make their day.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

There were four interviews total: one with the recruiter, one with the manager, one with team colleagues, and one with the Director. It was a very straightforward process, mostly focused on getting to know you and assessing if you'd fit the team and company's needs. They were clear about the values and the type of work involved, both the good and the not-so-good aspects. It was a very open conversation.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

This interview process was tedious and old school. First, an HR screening, which was pretty standard. Then, a face-to-face interview where it felt like Jordan Belfort might show up, minus the extras. It was a chat, but not very engaging. I found myself thinking about dinner or old friends. They brought up one of their sales reps is about to hit £1m for the year. Next was a good call with the Sales Director. After that, there were inclusive tests covering Math, English, etc., which I found irrelevant to sales. Then came a 'sell me this pen' style cold call, a mock scenario where I had to pretend to call the COO of a major IT company to set up a meeting, which felt unbelievable given the lack of context. This led to my Jordan Belfort comments about chest-banging and humming. The final interview was a face-to-face with the UK sales director.

  • Please perform a sell me this pen exercise.
