The first part was a standard hackerrank coding test and a recruiter call, which was pretty much what I expected. But then, the second round was crazy - I had to build a whole website using javascript APIs. They gave me a week for it, and it took up so much time. Honestly, it felt unreasonable given my other stuff going on; finishing it properly would've taken at least three full days. It felt like they didn't respect my time at all. I would've much preferred a smaller task, like creating a single method or using bootstrap for a layout, if they really needed a second assessment.

So, we had this online coding challenge first, then a virtual video interview. It was like 5 rounds total, and each round was about 2 hours long. The whole process kinda goes like this: we write up the job description, post it, then get the interviews scheduled. After that, we do the preliminary interviews, then the in-person ones. We follow up with candidates, and then make a hire.
