Submitted my application in late April and didn't hear back until July, which took a really long time given the current job market. They didn't give any timeline for decisions, which made the company seem a bit out of touch with their values.

I had 3 rounds of interviews for this role. The first interview was with the team lead, the second was a panel interview with 2 people, and the final interview was with one person. Some of the questions asked were pretty straightforward.

This company interview process was very misaligned. The sales interviewer asked about technical skills, but then a technical interviewer said technical background wasn't important. They asked if I was okay with virtual calls at 1 AM for managing calls from a different time zone. One interviewer was very picky and asked many situational questions; it would be hard if you're not from an MSSP background. The attitude was condescending. They basically want you to fight fires and be ready for customer security breaches.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Would you be alright with taking calls at 1 AM, as this will be quite frequent?
  • How would you handle a situation where our customers experience security breaches?
  • Do you have experience in an MSSP background?

Great experience! Had an initial 12-minute call with HR/Talent Acquisition. The first formal interview was two weeks later and went really well. The second formal interview was a week after that and went well. The third formal technical interview was another week later and was more difficult. Then I got a text from HR asking to set up a call. Had that call with HR a couple days later where I asked questions and learned about benefits. Received an offer via email a few days after that, which was about 1.5 months after the very first HR call.
