The interview process was smooth and well-organized. I got timely responses via Indeed and friendly Google Calendar invitations via email within a week of applying. After one video interview and a short, 2-hour assignment and reference check the following week, I moved on to another video call, which I believe is the final one. The whole process took about 4 weeks from application to completion, making it a really positive and easy experience.

The interview started with a really rude comment about an employee, which set the tone. It involved 1 phone call, 1 Skype interview, and an in-person meeting for paperwork. The phone and Skype interviews were good, covering job-related and cloud tech questions. They even sent a follow-up email to check my knowledge. The in-person part was unprofessional; I overheard a manager insult an employee before my meeting. They then lowballed me on salary, offering significantly less than my previous job (at least 10% lower) and were not open to negotiation, even having a pre-written offer with a deflated salary. The PTO was also disappointing: only 7 days per year, manager's discretion, with a slight increase only after two years. They laughed when I asked about getting certifications reimbursed. Shortly after, they rescinded the offer, citing a 'not a great fit'.

I had a phone interview with my potential manager, followed by an in-person interview about two weeks later. The in-person part was about an hour long. During the interview, I was asked about my past experience and a common question about my 5-year career goals. It was a bit odd because the interviewer was texting on his phone while I was talking, which made me feel like it might not be the right fit. I was also asked about my salary expectations, and they mentioned their range wasn't very high, but I said I was flexible. One of the owners asked me about salary expectations again during the in-person meeting, but just gave a nod without confirming if it was acceptable. The interviewer said he'd follow up, but I haven't heard back, which isn't too surprising and probably for the best.

I found the job on Indeed and applied online. Within a week, they got back to me about doing a social media skills test. After that, the Hiring Manager called me for a quick 15-minute phone chat. Then, I went in for about a 30-minute in-person interview with the same Hiring Manager. Since I was applying from out of state, they were cool with doing the interview over Skype.
