They asked me why I wanted to be an RBT, and if I was okay with changing diapers. They also wanted to know my general understanding of ABA and then they gave me some info about the role. I got to ask questions at the end, and then they set up a second in-person interview.

First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. They asked about my experience with ABA therapy and working with kids. Then, I had an in-person interview where they discussed the specific role, what it looks like day-to-day, and I also did an observation.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was actually quite smooth. I had a phone interview and an in-person interview all in the same week. The center director was very communicative and kept me updated throughout the process. I reached out a few days after the final interviews were held and it’s been a week of no response at all so I assumed I’ve just been ghosted. I was very excited about the role and company and am highly disappointed in the disregard for my time, energy, and gas spent driving to their location, especially after having such a positive experience beforehand. I will not be applying for any other job with the company and will not recommend others to do so either.

The whole thing took over 3 months. I had no idea when to expect a call from the recruiter or hiring manager. They often called after 7pm without any prior notice. Even though they first contacted me about one specific location, they changed their minds and offered two other locations before circling back to the original one (which I noted I was relocating states for).
