Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It was a 3-round interview process. First, I spoke with the hiring manager who asked some basic product management questions and told me more about the job. Then, there was a 4-hour panel interview with the engineering and product teams where they mostly asked scenario-based and project management questions. Finally, I met with the VP of product, who asked general product management questions and about my interest in the role.

I was contacted by the recruiter who then arranged an initial phone screen with the hiring manager. After that, I had an on-site interview. The interview was scheduled for 3 hours but ended up being over 4 hours long. The entire process was quite disorganized; people were entering and leaving the interview room as they wished, which made it difficult for me to have complete conversations with everyone. I later learned that some of the interviewers weren't even supposed to be there. After two weeks of waiting for feedback, I followed up and was asked to wait, but then received an automated rejection email shortly after. I've been rejected before and I don't usually complain, but given how disorganized and unfair the interview process was, I question the validity of their "well-informed" decisions. I would have expected a more organized interview round or at least a personal email from the recruiter. I really hope they improve their interview process so other candidates don't have to go through the same experience.

Behavioral Technical

I went through a series of phone interviews and then got called in for an on-site interview. The on-site lasted about 3 hours and included two video calls and three in-person meetings. The interviews felt pretty relaxed, more like a casual conversation. I felt like I connected with the interviewers and the discussions went well. After a week with no word, I checked in with the recruiter who said he’d pass along feedback. Another two weeks went by with no updates.
