First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blueprint Studios.
Printing Department Manager
I went through 3 interviews for this role. First was a phone chat, then two in-person interviews with the managers. I also met the owner and the team. I asked to see the actual printing department to check out the work environment, but they didn't set that up.
- Can you describe your management style?
Guest Services
I had a phone interview first, and then I went to the office for an in-person interview. I met with 3 people one after another. They all asked me the same questions. One of them kept yawning the whole time, which was really rude and made me feel like we were both wasting our time. They also asked me to email them some Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that I had created.
- What makes you want to join this company?
- Can you describe your methods for inter-departmental communication?
Guest Services Coordinator
I had a phone screen and then heard back about 1.5 weeks later for an interview. Then, another 1.5 weeks passed and I got a call for a second interview. When I went in the second time, the COO was really late, like 40 minutes, and didn't even say sorry. I was told I'd hear from the office, but I saw the job posted again just 2 days later. I still haven't heard back. Clearly, they think their time is way more important than mine and follow-up is not a thing.
- Can you tell me about your current role and why you're looking to move on?
- What motivates your desire to leave your present position?
Program Coordinator
It was pretty simple. I had two zoom interviews, one with the manager and another with an account director. Each interview lasted about 40 minutes. They weren't too intense, they mostly asked about my background and goals, and presented me with a scenario to gauge my reaction.
