First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BlueOval SK.
Production Operator
The interview process started out pretty standard, but the unexpected part was completing an online "behavioral exam" before the in-person interview. They asked me about my past work history, inquiring about a good and a bad aspect of my previous supervisor, and what I brought to that role.
- Can you share a positive aspect of your previous supervisor?
- What was a negative aspect concerning your previous supervisor?
- What did you contribute in your last position?
MES Engineer
I had an interview that lasted about an hour and a half. It focused on lean production. While I didn't know all the answers, I tried my best to explain my thoughts. I also had to research EV batteries extensively.
- Can you discuss production-related topics?
- Were there any coding questions asked?
Interpreter/Translator
I applied for a job at the KY location through a recruiter. I had a first interview with the recruiter but never heard back. Apparently, this happens a lot at the KY location, which isn't great. The recruiter didn't speak Korean, so we didn't even get to discussing if I was qualified, they just asked about my general background and stuff.
- Are you fluent in both Korean and English?
- Do you have prior experience as an interpreter?
- What types of interpretation, like simultaneous or consecutive, are you capable of?
Strategic Workforce Manager
The interview process involved a panel of 5 people asking a lot of questions. It felt more like an interrogation, which made me less interested in working for the company. The interview lasted a little over an hour, and no presentation was required.
- Were there mostly behavior/scenario based questions?
