I applied online, then got contacted and screened by HR. After that, I had an in-person interview with two managers who flew in from out of state. The facility was unfinished, with no heat in the conference room and very little furniture. They said I'd hear back before the holiday, but I didn't. When I called the HR rep, they told me they weren't filling the position, which I later found out was a lie because I met the person they hired about a month later who was related to one of the managers.

The recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn, asking if I was interested in the role. I hit back that same day, but then had to wait several days for them to send over the job description, which wasn't even posted. I told them I wanted to keep talking, and then it took them almost a week to reply, on a Sunday afternoon. We spoke on Monday, and it went well. They asked for my resume and said they'd get back within 24 hours. I sent it an hour after we hung up, but didn't hear back until the next Sunday afternoon. I suggested we talk on Monday, but still no reply. The whole process felt really cold and dismissive of my time. I don't mind talking on weekends or setting up times, but the multi-day delays were just rude and inconsiderate.

Had a few interviews with managers who were not local. First, a phone call, then two in-person interviews. The company was a mess, really disorganized, with offices still being unpacked. There was a long gap between interviews and an even longer one before they finally rejected me (via text, no less!) after I had to chase them down via email. The pay was way under market, and the benefits weren't good either. Took some digging to get a benefits summary. They also boasted about a small quarterly bonus that depended on the whole company's performance, not individual or team results. Don't recommend working here.

Behavioral Other

There were several interview levels. They scheduled last minute, which wasn't great for my time. I had to drop everything for this interview with little notice. It was a lengthy process. The recruiter was very responsive. It started with the recruiter, then I met with the hiring manager, then peers, and finally an onsite interview.
