Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blueground.
Accountant
It was a straightforward and easy process, and I got an offer pretty quickly. The setting was comfortable, and we had a good conversation. They were responsive, and I got emails fast. They gave a good intro, but the system setup was delayed. The online interview itself was efficient and quick.
- What are your accounting principles?
- Can you explain reconciliations?
- What is your basic knowledge of IFRS?
Accounting Associate
Applied online and interviewed online. There was a lack of professionalism, and interviews were postponed multiple times. I got a great score on the test and had two online interviews: one with HR and one with the CFO. The day after the second interview, I was called to schedule another with the Director of Accounting. However, I received a call the day before that final interview informing me it was cancelled because they were actually looking for someone with more experience.
- Tell me about your background.
- Why did you choose to apply to our company?
Accountant
It was a pretty easy and positive experience with three rounds. They asked general questions to check my skills and personality. The whole thing went fast, and they replied to emails regularly.
- Can you tell me about your prior experience and how you see yourself fitting into this role?
