Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BlueCat.
Sales
The interview process was very straightforward. They wanted me to meet different team members because culture is really important to BlueCat. They really desire a positive infectious attitude. I met with both senior level leaders and the account teams. I was impressed and felt like I belonged and could work here for a long time.
- What unique skills do you possess that could benefit BlueCat and our company?
Inside Sales Representative
The hiring process took about a month. They were clearly looking for the right people to build a new sales team. I first talked to HR, and they passed my resume to the Hiring Manager. Then, I had a few good conversations with upper management about BlueCat's culture and what they expected from me in the role. My impression was that they want people who fit the culture but also bring new ideas. I picked BlueCat over two other offers because the interview process showed how professional they are and what their core values are!
- What is your reason for choosing BlueCat?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process at BlueCat was pretty thorough, with six total rounds involving different people from Sales and HR. BlueCat clearly puts a lot of effort into hiring, which makes sense. I had two interviews back-to-back in person, and then four phone interviews. All the interviews felt fair, and they didn't throw any really weird questions at you, but you definitely need to prepare if you want to make it through.
- What makes you interested in BlueCat?
- Tell me about a time when innovative thinking helped you close a sale.
