My second round interview was canceled, but overall, the experience was positive and professional. It seems that they have a large number of applicants to manage simultaneously, which may have contributed to the cancellation. It was good and profession until they cancel my second round interview. It seems like they have large numbers of applicants at the same time.

Applied through LinkedIn and got a call to schedule a phone screen with HR within a couple of days. The recruiter and I had a good conversation and seemed mutually excited. The recruiter said they wanted to advance me to the hiring manager and asked for my availability that week, which I provided. No response for a week, so I followed up. After more silence, I finally got a reply saying they hadn't heard back from the team about current candidates. It's confusing why they would offer to schedule me with the manager without knowing if the team wanted to meet me. I've never experienced this before. Even if they were further along with others, they could have been more upfront and maybe still had me meet the manager since I was already screened. Today, over a month after our last email exchange, I received a generic rejection email. My experience seems to be similar to many others' recruiting experiences.

The interview process had two stages. First was a phone interview where they went over my resume and discussed TMF systems knowledge. The second interview was a video call via Teams with the hiring manager and director. They focused on different aspects of my skills. The company was clear about what they expected from the role and the interview was structured accordingly. I enjoyed the process and felt it was competitive. I received an offer.
