First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blue World Pools.
Sales Representative
Had a short 15-minute phone call where they gave some unclear details. Got a quick offer but the company isn't providing much training or investment. The presentation was pretty bad, which makes sense given how much turnover they mentioned in the job.
- Can you commit to working six days a week?
Sales Representative
The interview process for this role isn't too tough and is handled by the recruiter who's looking to hire you. They'll confirm you fit the job requirements and are okay with earning commission. I went through two interviews. The first one was quick. The recruiter gave me a rundown of the job and told me to check out their company website and careers page. In the second interview, they asked me some questions to make sure I got the job. Then, they had me talk about my past sales work. I had to give at least two job references, though I'm not sure if they actually called them. Since I had a good amount of sales experience before, they hired me fast. I had a 2.5-day training the next week and started working the day after that. The whole thing was pretty fast but straightforward. They want you to do well because the more you sell, the more they earn.
- Can you tell me about your experience in sales?
- Are you open to traveling for this position?
- Do you possess a valid driver's license, social security card, and auto insurance?
Sales Representative
A recruiter named Kristy reached out to me. She was great and answered all my questions. I was a bit hesitant initially, but she was really open and honest, not pushy at all. We talked for about an hour about what I wanted in a job, my past sales experience, and my general views on selling. I'm more into a softer sell approach, and after our conversation, she extended a job offer.
- What are your expectations for a sales role?
