The interview process was in three parts. The first interview was with the CEO, and it was pretty short. It was mostly to see if the company's goals matched my career goals. It was fun, the CEO was great, and I could tell right away they were successful and someone I'd look up to. The next interview was with one of their top reps. She explained the business well and answered all my questions! What was most interesting was the experience I'd get, even if I didn't make it to the top. Also, since I'm an athlete, the fact that it's 100% merit-based really caught my attention.

I had a 1:1 interview the first day to see if I was a good fit. Then I was invited to Round 2 interviews, which included a ride-along with an Account Representative so I could see the daily tasks. After the ride-along, there was a third interview. An hour after that, I got a call with an offer and needed to respond right away. The employees seemed to get along well, with mandatory office social nights on Thursdays. The main role is door-to-door sales of AT&T's U-Verse packages using their "proven" sales "system", which involves misrepresenting themselves as Customer Service reps and mentioning "recent utility work in your area".

HR contacted me after I sent in my resume on CareerBuilder.com. They asked if I could come in for an interview. I went in for an initial interview that was about 15 minutes long. Then they asked if I could come in for a second round interview that would include lunch. I came in for a second round interview that was with another interviewee, which I found a bit unusual. We went to Chipotle for lunch, and I was expecting somewhere nicer. I was offered the job, which I later discovered was the case for everyone.
