First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blue Health Intelligence.
Product Marketing Director
The interview process was quite unprofessional. They initially asked me to complete a case study project and present it in the second interview, which I did. However, by the seventh and eighth interviews, which included the CEO, they started asking for a full project plan without any compensation. When I refused to provide the project plan for free, they informed me that they were putting the role on hold.
- What would your first 30 days in this role entail?
- Can you describe your strategy for the initial 30 days?
- What are your plans for the first month on the job?
Product Marketing Manager
The initial phone screen went well and the recruiter was initially very responsive. I completed all the interview stages but then never heard back. I emailed the recruiter about my application status, and received no response. I had spent time preparing for the interviews and gave it my all, but was met with silence and disrespect. It's funny because the same recruiter contacted me again on LinkedIn about a month later for the same role. When I mentioned they had already done so and I'd gone through all the rounds without an answer, they ignored my message again. This was likely one of the worst interview experiences I've encountered.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a time you had a conflict at work.
- Tell me about your experience with product launches.
Data Scientist
HR screening, then a manager interview where I was asked technical questions and about previous projects on my resume, this lasted 45 min. Finally, a team interview where I was asked technical questions on ML models, SQL, and Python, this was 2 hours.
- What are your methods for feature selection?
- How would you approach a dataset with 10,000 features?
- What's your strategy for loading a large dataset into Python?
Process Excellence Principal
There were three interview stages: first, an HR Recruiter call, then a meeting with the Hiring Manager, and finally, a session with three of the hiring manager's colleagues. The whole process wrapped up in under two weeks. After that, radio silence. I followed up with the recruiter twice over the next couple of weeks, but it took another 10 days to get an email with some excuses and a question about my continued interest. I replied the same day saying I was still keen, and then... nothing. Glad I took another offer.
- Could you please give me an overview of your resume?
- Can you walk me through your professional background?
- Tell me about your experience as presented on your resume.
