I interviewed with a few leaders from the team and a VP from Talent Acquisition. It was a pretty straightforward process, and everyone on the team was really nice and encouraging. I actually had a good time, even though I didn't get the offer. They did give me some feedback later on.

It took about three months to get through the whole process because of COVID and holidays. First, there was a 30-minute prescreen with the hiring manager. Then, a 1-hour virtual interview with a panel of managers from the department. After that, a 30-minute virtual interview with the Vice President of the Department. Finally, the offer stage. The process was long but really formal and seemed pretty important for the job. Everyone I spoke with, including the VP, seemed super smart, honest, and really cared about the culture and what's next for BCBS.

It was a pretty political culture, but everyone was friendly and the office was nice. They used the STAR method (Situation, Approach, Result). I had four one-hour interviews with different people. My advice: practice explaining the situation in 1 minute, your step-by-step approach in 2 minutes, and the positive outcome in 1 minute.
