Account Executive
So you start with a phone screen with the recruiter, then you do an onsite where you get to meet leaders from different divisions. It's cool cuz you can see the whole company and make sure it's a good fit. There might be a third step, like a job shadow.
- Can you tell me about specific contributions from your resume and what the results were?
- What were the outcomes of the contributions you've listed on your resume?
Solution Architect
A recruiter reached out to me by phone first, asking for my updated resume. Once they got it, the recruiter called again for a phone interview. The next day, they called back and invited me to their office for a one-on-one. During that meeting, they went over my resume and asked about my past jobs and responsibilities. They really wanted to get a sense of my skills and strengths. The whole thing was pretty straightforward and chill, no pressure at all. It was a good experience.
- Can you provide specific details about projects you've been involved with over the past two years, including your specific contributions?
- What kind of position are you looking for, and what are your future career aspirations?

I later learned they contacted my references to see if they were looking for jobs, which made it seem like they just wanted to tap into my network.
- What's your reason for leaving your current job?
Business Analyst
I was sent info to prep for the interview, including the questions. They also told me about the company culture, benefits, how to handle the first day, and who my main contact would be once I started the job.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
