First, I had a recruiter call where they asked basic questions about my tech stack, previous companies, team sizes, and if I could work on-site. Then, I took a technical test with a few problems that were easy to average difficulty. The test had three parts: two were logic/competitive programming style, and one was a real-world case coding problem. I'm not sure if I passed the test, but HR got back to me saying I didn't. I think it might have been because my salary expectations were too high for their budget, but they said it was because I didn't pass the test. There should have been another round or more user interviews.

Behavioral Technical

It started with an HR Interview, basically a session with Human Resource. Then, a User Interview where they asked a lot about my previous and current experience related to the position. It was a relatively relaxing interview, no judgement. After that, a Medical Check-up, which was quite funny because it was back and forth. I had to go to the office first for blood pressure and illness history, which could have been done at the clinic. Finally, a smooth process for the Final Offer. I slightly regret rejecting it due to personal reasons.

Technical Presentation Behavioral

The interview process involves an initial HR chat, followed by a user interview that includes a live case study, and finally negotiation. The HR negotiation part was a negative experience as they didn't seem to value the talent brought to the table. The HR process itself was a blocker due to its repetitive nature and long duration.

Applied online and a week later, HR called me for a design test, which was a case study with a one-week deadline. Two days after I submitted it, I had a user interview with some product team members where I presented the case study and answered questions. On the same day after that, HR let me know I passed to the next round: an interview with HR about general, work-life related topics. About a week later, HR called with an offer. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks from the design test to the offer.

  • Could you walk me through your thinking behind the solution you developed for this case study?
