First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blue Arrow.
Finance Manager
Started with a recruiter screening call. Then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a take-home exercise, where I had to summarize results and findings in writing. This was followed by a presentation to a panel with a Q&A session. Lastly, a behavioral interview and a technical round. The whole thing took about 4 weeks.
- Describe a situation where you challenged the status quo and explain how you influenced business partners.
Customer Service Advisor
The process was really straightforward. They asked questions about customer service and about you, and why you picked this company. They need your ID and ask questions about your experience. It was done over Teams and went very smoothly.
- What is the best customer service you have ever experienced?
Packer
Had a 10-minute call over the phone. Then when I arrived, I got given safety boots, a hat, gloves, and a high-vis jacket. Then I had to do a sorting parcels test, a drugs urine test, and a strip search. After that, there was lifting & handling training, then filling out forms for bank, health, and next of kin. Watched a video on company values and quality control. Had a brief written test too.
- Are you able to work specific hours?
- How do you get to work?
- What's your sickness record like?
Lab Support Technician
First, I had to submit all my documents. Then, I took a PSI test to check my attention to detail, what I would do in different scenarios, and what my likely and unlikely behaviors and preferences are. Finally, there was a comfortable interview where we talked about myself and me as a person.
- Can you share something that you are proud of?
