First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bloomerang.
Account Manager
The interview at Bloomerang was super good, like one of the best I've had. Everything was easy and they made me feel welcome. It started with Kelsey, the recruiter, who was really nice and professional, and told me what to expect. She communicated well, making it smooth. Then I talked to four leaders. These talks were cool and I learned a lot about the company culture and what they value. The leaders were easy to talk to and asked good questions, so it felt like a real conversation. It was clear that Bloomerang cares about growing employees and fitting with the team. Everything showed me they are serious about their mission and people, which is why people like it there. I got an offer and I'm excited to join! I really liked how much time everyone took to make it a good experience. If you're thinking about working at Bloomerang, expect a process that's thought-out, organized, and shows you what they're about and how they treat their people.
- Can you tell me about your sales process?
- Describe your approach to managing clients.
- Could you give me an overview of your background, walking me through your resume?
Account Executive
The interview process was very straightforward and reasonable. It had 5 rounds in total. It started with an HR phone screen, then an interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by an interview with another Sales Manager. After that, there was a mock discovery call run by Sales Enablement, and the final round was a chat with the Head of Sales. Each round was only 30 minutes and didn't involve any tricky or hard-pressing questions.
- Could you share some examples of outbound sales you've closed?
Customer Support Associate
The interviewer / HR person was very nice and friendly, overall a great experience. We had some small talk for a few minutes and then shifted to the description of the job, my qualifications, salary, health benefits, etc.
- Where do you reside?
- What motivates you to work here?
- Can you tell me about a challenge you faced in a prior role?
Account Executive Sales Manager
I interviewed with the VP of Sales first, then with department leaders. The final stage was a presentation to the founders. They were upfront about interviewing two external and one internal candidate and their preference for internal hires. They have a good product and a history of internal promotion. My advice is to avoid senior roles if you're external unless you start at an entry-level position.
