Cashier
The interview was fun and quick. I was asked questions about movies, directors, video games, and recent blockbuster films, including brief descriptions.
- Tell me about how often you see movies.
- What's your favorite actor?
- Who is your favorite director?
Intern
Working at the video rental store was nostalgic and insightful. I learned about customer service, inventory management, and classic films. The experience fostered responsibility, communication skills, and a deep appreciation for physical media in a digital age.
- How would you deal with a customer who is upset about a late fee?
Receptionist
It was a series of friendly questionnaires about personality and goals, situational questions, talk about resume, only one interview, knowledge of material and things within nature of the company and its partners and where you see yourself in the future.
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
- Could you tell me about your personality and goals?
- Can you describe how you would handle certain situations?
Marketing Coordinator
So, for the Marketing Coordinator gig, it was pretty chill, took about two weeks and had 3 parts. First, a quick call with HR just to see if I was a fit. Then, I had a video chat with the main boss where we talked about my campaign experience and if I knew stuff like Google Analytics. The last part was a group interview with the whole marketing crew, where they wanted to see how I work with others and gave me a little task about a social media plan. They were pretty good at keeping in touch, even if there were a few days between chats. Everyone was nice and kept it professional.
- Tell me about your marketing background.
- Could you describe your experience with marketing campaigns and tools such as Google Analytics?
- How would you describe your collaborative approach when working with a marketing team?
