The interview was in a relaxed setting with water provided. The receptionists were friendly, taking and returning my coat. There was some humor during the interview that helped me relax. It did take a while to get the results, though.

The interviews went well and I got good feedback. I was welcomed and the discussion was flowing. After the initial stage in October 2017, I followed up several times about a decision. On January 9th, 2018, I received a call back after my final message. The person calling had forgotten to inform me that the position was no longer available. I felt it was a waste of my annual leave. They asked to keep my details on file. Given this experience, I would not consider working with this company due to poor communication and how candidates are treated. This process has raised concerns.

I had a quick 15-minute phone call where they asked about my experience, what I wanted salary-wise, how I'd be a good fit, and why I was looking to leave my current job. After that, they offered me a formal interview over Zoom, which lasted about an hour with an associate and a partner. We talked about my knowledge of the job, the litigation and claims processes, and they wanted to gauge what I knew, which seemed reasonable and more like a chat than a test. I have experience in some areas and learned others at my current firm. They also asked personal questions to see how I'd mesh with the team and the firm. It was pretty laid-back, and we chatted to get to know each other. It wasn't overly stressful, more like a conversation towards the end. This is my first paralegal role, and they said they'd train me on anything I wasn't familiar with, even though I'm a law graduate and have about two years of claims management experience in the same legal area, so I had some background.

I interviewed with 2 people, a partner and an associate. One asked me technical questions, and the other asked about my CV and why I wanted to be there. It was split 30 mins technical legal questions and 30 mins on my CV.
