First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bliss.
Licensed Massage Therapist
The interview process was quick, starting with a practical session with the lead therapist. Then, there was a meeting with general management and Human Resources. The General Manager asked a lot of questions about my past experience working in high-end hotels and spas, why I was moving to Fort Lauderdale, and what I knew about their hotel. They also asked why I'd be a good fit for the job. Human Resources asked general questions like what makes me a good employee and what experience I have that proves it. They also asked what I didn't like about my previous employer, my expectations for their company, and my availability.

The first chat is over the phone with the Spa Director. You'll go over the job description, and they'll ask what makes you think you're qualified and why you applied to Bliss. You'll also need to name a company you think has great customer service and one you think has bad customer service, explaining your choices. They'll touch on salary, but don't expect to negotiate pay. If that goes well, the second interview is in the Spa with the two senior managers. You'll fill out a paper application first. If they like you, they'll either have you tour the facility right after or set up a time for you to come back to see the Spa in action. After that, you head to HQ for the paperwork. You'll formally accept the position, complete all the necessary forms, and get scheduled for 3-4 days of paid training at HQ. Once the retail and computer training is done, they'll set your first shift at the Spa.

Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview first, then an in-person one. After the phone interview, they scheduled me for an in-person interview with the manager right away. The interview had basic questions. The manager was nice and made me feel comfortable. It was about 20 minutes, and I got an offer a week later.
- Tell me about your weakness.

The interview process was basic and standard, although there was a long wait as it wasn't on time. It started with a phone interview, followed by a face-to-face interview at the location. Two people conducted the interview, and the phone kept ringing during our conversation.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What motivates your interest in working for Bliss?
