Merchandise Planner
The whole experience was a waste of time and unprofessional. The first interview was in their NYC office and involved a bunch of tests, taking almost 3 hours. The second interview was bad because I went on a day with heavy snow, commuting from NJ with limited transit just for this. The CEO, who wasn't there, forgot to tell the manager I was coming, so she was upset, making it uncomfortable. If you don't get an offer on the spot the first day, don't bother going again because CEO Elena can't keep track of schedules or meetings.

ECommerce Implementor
Just awful. Had a great pre phone interview with a consultant from Bling that was very personable, knowledgable and told me he was a huge fan of the site I worked for. Went in for an interview with the owner Elena who had a completely opposite demeanor. Very unprofessional, as she made me sit next to her while immediately insulting the extremely (more) successful eCommerce site that I was working for. She barely let me speak and made me feel very uncomfortable as she did not wear shoes and let her dog lick my leg the entire time. There was no warrant for such rude behavior and obviously a red flag for candidates. I've had many different interview experiences in my professional career (14 years in eCommerce) but I've never been disrespected on an interview until Bling.
- How proficient are you with Excel and can you demonstrate it with this difficult test?
Content Editor
I visited the office and felt extremely disrespected. Elena, the owner, was interviewing others and barely acknowledged me when it was my turn. She wasn't prepared and just glanced at my resume, judging it dismissively. She told me on the spot that I wasn't a good fit and rushed me out when she realized my skills weren't up to par, while checking her email to schedule more interviews. The office space itself is nice, but that's it. The door was open during my interview, so I'm sure employees could hear everything, which was awkward. This was one of my worst interview experiences; the interviewers lacked basic professional etiquette and courtesy.
- Can you describe your experience with content editing software?
Returns Department
The interview was good. I met with Elena and some other managers. It was professional but relaxed. They asked about my experience and how I'd fit into the company culture. I had to do an Excel test and a personality exam. They gave me a tour and introduced me to people to show me how the returns process works. It all went smoothly, just like a normal interview. Everyone seemed nice and the business seemed well-run.
- Would you be willing to help out in other departments if needed, or do you prefer to focus solely on your primary role?
