Behavioral Other

The interview process started with a recruiter screening call, followed by a video call with the hiring manager. Next, there was a written assignment with essay-style questions. The final stage was a virtual panel interview with six team members. Throughout the process, the team members I interacted with seemed positive and engaged. However, I found the hiring manager to be disengaged during our meeting, often muting himself to speak with others while I was answering his questions, except when discussing his own accomplishments. About a week after the panel interview, the recruiter communicated that the decision was close but they decided not to proceed, citing a lack of enthusiasm for the role on my part. Despite the outcome, Blend appears to be a good employer, and I recommend applying after thorough research and preparation.

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process had four total steps. First, a phone screening with the hiring manager, then a technical interview with a team lead. After that, there was a written assignment which is pretty standard for SDR roles I've seen. Finally, a tandem interview with four key leaders from sales and marketing. Overall, it was a comprehensive, timely, and engaging process. They really made sure it wasn't a one-way conversation, and I got plenty of chances to ask about company culture, growth, and their community work. Like others have said, do your homework. If you can't use your SDR skills to dig into the company, they'll notice, and it's fair they won't be impressed. The whole thing took about a week and a half.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, there was a general call with a recruiter from Blend to go over background and behavioral stuff. Then, a video interview with the hiring manager, focusing on background, why I want to work at Blend, and insights into my past roles and the SDR life at Blend. After that, a take-home written assessment where I had to do a mock prospecting email and voicemail, plus behavioral paragraph responses. Finally, a virtual onsite interview with folks from Marketing and the SDR team, centered on fit, why Blend, and background.
