Head of product reached out, I assume it was via an assistant or automated system. I had a call with the recruiter, who then suggested I might be underqualified and should aim for an IC role instead. I agreed to that, and then spoke with a PM. That was the end of it. They said 'once bitten twice shy', but I went against that and agreed to speak with them again after 2-3 years. The recruiter was very nice, but during the PM screening, it felt like the interviewer was determined to reject me. He just asked random questions. For example, 'How would you measure an FB product X?' which made me wonder if I was expected to think structurally or give a polished answer in just 5 minutes. The tone and attitude were unfriendly. My honest feedback to the recruitment team: coach your internal teams on how to engage candidates. While disappointing, I'm glad things don't always turn out as planned. It's a two-way street; you get to know me, and I get to know you.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a few phone interviews with the Head of Product and then other Product Managers, Head of Sales, Head of Engineering, and HR. Then had an onsite interview day with multiple interviews including the Head of Product, Product Managers, Head of Engineering, Customer Success, HR, and other management folks. Finished with a final interview with the CEO. It was a really well-organized process, and they kept me updated regularly after each interview. It was good that I got to meet different team members to help me make an informed decision.

The Product Analyst interview was technical. The second PM interview included both behavioral and technical questions.
