Software Engineer
Went through three interviews. Started with a recruiter call, then a LeetCode Medium problem about designing a bank. After that, there was an easy LeetCode palindrome question and another super easy one. Finally, there was a panel round with an engineer, the hiring manager, and a group manager.
- LeetCode Medium: Design a bank
- What steps do you take when an API request fails?
- How would you approach a disagreement with a coworker?
DevOps Engineer
I had 2 interviews, each lasted about 1.5 hours. The first was with the CTO, who is a technical person. We talked about AWS, DB, webservers, linux OS, and bash. Then there were some puzzles, like 'how to proof that earth is round, looking on moon'. The second interview was with the CEO. They gave me a bunch of puzzles and let me talk about myself as a person.
- Can you discuss your experience with AWS, databases, web servers, Linux operating systems, and bash scripting?
- Do you have experience with monitoring tools?
- How would you prove that the Earth is round by observing the moon?
Documentation Specialist
This interview process took quite a while, but in the end, things went pretty smoothly. The recruiter let me know that the team was keen on offering me the job and that she was finalizing the specifics. She called to check in on my salary expectations and mentioned that the DocuSign offer would be sent out that evening. However, that didn't happen, and the next business day, the same recruiter contacted me to say they had decided to move forward with another candidate.
- In what ways do you figure out the most effective method for documenting or presenting information to the intended audience?
Internal Communications Specialist
The whole thing took about 4 weeks, which was pretty thorough. I originally applied online, and then a recruiter reached out for an initial phone screen. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager and was asked to do a writing assignment. Once I submitted that, there was a final panel interview with four people from strategic operations and marketing, and then I got the offer a few days later.
- Can you describe your experience supporting marketing campaigns?
