First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blackstone Products.
Photographer
It started with a phone interview, I had two of them. They asked some good qualifying questions for the position and I felt pretty good about moving on, but it turns out they already had someone in mind and hired them. That's what I heard anyway.
- Tell me about your experience as a photographer.
- Would you be interested in this role working as part of a team?
- Would you enjoy working with food as props in this position?
Associate
This interview had a mix of behavioral and situational questions, with a deep dive into my resume. I had to be ready to talk about everything on my resume in detail and how I could apply my prior experience to this current role.
- Could you give me an overview of your resume?
- Tell me about your resume.
- What are your thoughts on your resume?
Analyst
The hiring process moved really fast with 6 interviews in total. The first three were technical, and then they turned into just casual chats with the interviewers. The whole thing from start to offer took about 3 weeks. Nothing too wild.
- Can you walk me through a distribution?
Analyst
The interview process was extensive, taking a bit longer than expected, but the people involved were quite friendly and engaging. They were serious about the process and allowed ample time for us to ask questions. The interviews were conversational, with the technical or behavioral focus varying depending on the interviewer.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
