Financial Analyst
It was a tough 3 round of interview, where we had an aptitude round first and then some other rounds. Plenty of interview questions were easy and not that difficult, but the technical round was a bit tough overall.
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
Financial Analyst
The interview process included: 1. A self-introduction. 2. A basic financial model test covering concepts like DCF, EV/EBITDA, P/E, and P/S. 3. Questions focused on the equity market. 4. Questions about the bond market. 5. An analysis of the current market. 6. Questions pertaining to the company. 7. A discussion about career path plans.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Can you demonstrate your understanding of basic financial modeling, including DCF, EV/EBITDA, P/E, and P/S?
- What are your thoughts on the equity market?
Financial Analyst
I got the interview through the campus career fair. First, there was a telephonic screening, which was a conference call with three interviewers. After that, I interviewed on one of the super days. There were five rounds in total, and the interviewers were from different teams, ranging from an analyst who joined a year ago up to a director. Two of the rounds were very technical and asked me a lot about quant finance, which is my major. In one round, a senior manager asked me logical puzzles, and the other two rounds were fully behavioral.
- Can you recommend the best current investment across an equity, a commodity, and a currency?
