Behavioral Other

Interview went well, just a bunch of behavioral questions and asked to walk through some hypothetical scenarios of helping a client. I interviewed a few days ago and he said I would be hearing back soon, but have heard nothing yet.

The process leading up to the super day was surprisingly quick. It started with a brief HireVue interview where they asked about my motivation for choosing BlackRock, my academic background, and my interest in ACS. The super day itself involved a group case study that didn't seem very relevant, followed by four interviews back-to-back. These interviews tested my understanding of finance fundamentals and included many behavioral questions. While the interviews weren't excessively hard, the emphasis seemed to be on assessing cultural fit. It's been over a month since my final interview, and I still haven't received any official word on the outcome.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Group

I applied on their website and the interview process had 3 stages. First, it was a video interview on Hirevue where you get two questions, have a minute to prep and a minute to record your answer. Then, there were two 30-minute phone/video interviews. The first was more general, the second was more about competencies, personality, and thought process. Finally, there was an assessment center with 4 parts: two 30-minute one-on-one interviews, a numerical reasoning test that was like a case study, and a group exercise involving reading, discussion, and presentation. They liked it when you asked questions and showed you did research.
