Technical Lead
The interview process included two technical rounds covering basic to intermediate concepts in cloud, Python, SQL, and specific tools like GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, AWS services (Redshift, Glue), Snowflake, and streaming. There was also an HR discussion and a client discussion.
- Which cloud services have you worked with?
- Tell me about your experience with Cloud concepts, Python, and SQL.
- Can you discuss your knowledge of GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow?
Senior Software Engineer
I had an online interview on Teams. The interviewer didn't give me enough time to fully answer questions and kept interrupting, citing issues with my camera and voice sync. They even asked me to show my background, which felt a bit insecure on their part. My advice is, if a company feels insecure during virtual interviews, maybe they shouldn't be conducting them. Given that most companies now use virtual interviews, I'd recommend not wasting your time on this one.
- Questions about C# dependency injection, Solid Principles, and the singleton pattern were asked.
Software Engineer
it was a technical screen round that covered java basics, including core java and oops concepts. there was also a basic coding question on removing duplicates, static keyword, and the main method signature with explanation. they asked to explain all oops concepts and a coding question on strings like removing duplicates. basically, just a brushup of all basics in the java language.
- Tell me about Java basics, core, and oops concepts.
- Write a basic coding solution for removing duplicates, explain the static keyword, and the main method signature.
- Can you explain all the oops concepts?
