My resume was given to a friend who works there. After a couple weeks with no response, a PR manager reached out to schedule an interview. The interview was with him and was pretty standard. We discussed my past experiences, he gave me the lowdown on the position, and asked about my preferred brands and designers. I felt good about it, like I could really do the job. But then, after sending a thank you email, a handwritten note, and following up two times, I never heard back.

I interviewed for my internship at Black Frame from abroad, as I live in Europe. It was quite a simple process, they scheduled a convenient time slot for me and gave me a call on my mobile at that exact time. I spoke with three managers who asked me basic interview questions. For interns, they ask about your university life, as well as a little walk-through of your CV and all relevant positions you've noted. Overall, it was a positive experience and the interview wasn't too intimidating, while still challenging to a certain extent as it demanded a knowledge of the world of fashion.

It was pretty simple and nice. They asked basic questions about my interests and work experience. We talked a bit about the tasks I'd be doing, though they didn't mention it's an unpaid internship. They were upfront about dealing with glamour, but hinted the work itself might not be so glamorous. We exchanged a few more emails about my school schedule, which they seemed to accommodate, but then I never heard back, especially after I asked about pay.

I had a chat with a Senior Executive for about 20 minutes. We talked about my previous work, my career aspirations, and my passion for fashion. They were keen to know why I wanted to work for Black Frame specifically and asked a lot about my general interest in fashion. The interviewer also wanted to know about other brands I'd worked with and what I did there.
