The interview process was pretty standard. I first had to do a task and submit it. After they reviewed it, I was invited to an interview with the team I would be working with. That finished, I was then invited to an interview with the bosses.

The interview process can differ quite a bit based on the company, what they do, and the exact job, but here’s a general idea of what it could look like: First, you apply online through their website or job sites, uploading your resume, cover letter, and maybe some other stuff. Then, a recruiter or hiring manager checks out the applications – some places use software to look for keywords. Next, there’s usually a quick phone or video chat with a recruiter or HR to talk about your background, experience, and the job, basically checking if you’re qualified and if you’d fit in. After that, you might have a first-round interview with the hiring manager or a team member to talk about your experience and skills and how they match the role, and they’ll ask behavioral questions to see how you handle work and problems. For roles that need specific skills, there might be a technical interview, which could involve tests, case studies, or technical chats, or for other jobs, it could be tasks or simulations to test your abilities. You might also have a panel interview with several people from the team or different departments to get various viewpoints and see how well you’d fit in. Some jobs might also include assessment tests, like psychometric or personality tests.

Getting hired sometimes takes a while, and the interview process can be long. It's rare nowadays to get a job offer after just one interview. Lots of companies have a complex interview process that usually starts with screening interviews, often over the phone, and then moves to in-person interviews, and sometimes even second or third interviews.
