First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BL Harbert International.
Construction Project Manager
It was a really casual lunch, felt more like a friendly chat than a formal interview. They seemed genuinely interested in my thoughts and were quite approachable. My meal was on them, and I heard back via email the day after.
- What can we do to support you in achieving your career aspirations?
Document Controller
I had a face-to-face interview with the HR manager. They mentioned I'd meet the general manager later. They said I was a good fit and would be in touch, but I never heard back and they didn't reply to my LinkedIn messages.
- Tell me about the work you do at your current company and what your salary expectations are.
Software Developer
It was a long interview process, but I found it really interesting and learned a lot. I got to meet everyone on the team I'd be working with, and they made me feel super comfortable the whole time. Mostly, we talked about behavioral stuff, which led to some great conversations and gave me a good sense of what the company is like and what they expect.
- Can you explain why you'd be a strong candidate for this role?
Security Officer
It was pretty straightforward. I explained why I'm the best candidate and how no one will challenge me in this field. After waiting about 2 days for a response, they called to say I'm the successful person for the job. Congratulations!
