I interviewed with the head Civil Engineer and the Environmental Engineer. It was a 30-45 minute interview in the office's big conference room. We talked about my past jobs, some school projects I did, and stuff about the company, like how it's employee-owned. They let me know about the job offer about a week and a half to two weeks later. The office itself was pretty messy, with books and papers everywhere. There weren't any walls between cubicles, just a big open space with lots of desks.

I had two interviews. First, a phone call with HR, and then a Zoom call with the General Counsel. Both were low-pressure conversations. About three weeks later, HR sent a polite email letting me know they decided to move forward with other candidates.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty casual, back-and-forth process that changed based on what I brought to the table. I talked with the office Principal a few times, and also his boss, who is a regional director. I think my last meeting will be with some people from the main office.
