Sales Representative
I got a call from a really nice lady in HR who explained the job and set up an interview for the next day with Howard. He was super nice and the interview was quick. He asked if I had reliable transportation, what my goals were, and talked more about the role, which involves working in a store to promote Directv and ATT services, with hourly pay plus commission opportunities. I was then invited back for a second round where they take you to a store for a 20-minute presentation. The whole process was super fast, and the manager clearly explained the day-to-day tasks. The team seems really enthusiastic about their jobs, so I'm hopeful about this position.
- What are you looking for in a company?
Marketing
I went for an interview, and drove all the way from Miami to West Palm. The interview itself was very short, lasting only about 10 minutes and including just a couple of questions about my goals and motivations. Considering I spent more than an hour and a half driving, it felt like a waste of my time.
- I went to Bivion international in West Palm Beach for an interview. I had inquired over the phone about the marketing assistant role and was told it was an office-based position. However, upon arrival, I discovered it was actually a field-based position requiring face-to-face interaction. This was quite disappointing as it cost me time and money to travel from Miami to West Palm for nothing.
Salesman
I sat in the waiting room at the office, then got brought into the manager's office and spoke with the business owner. I got hired after the first round. The second round involves going to the store where sales happen and learning the basics of selling.
