So, they first did a phone call interview where they asked some basic questions. After that, I had an in-person interview on-site. They asked about things like my previous experience, how I'd deal with customers, and to tell them a little about myself.

The person in charge doesn't handle things well, they just ask a couple of questions but aren't a good trainer. The company looks good, but the environment seems really bad, with everyone always having some issue.

The interview process was entirely remote, which was a unique aspect. It started with a 30-minute recruiter call focusing on the job details and my experience, quite casual. Then, a 30-45 minute call with the hiring manager went deeper into my background, their needs, and team dynamics, also casual. Following that, an hour-long HR call involved discussing my work history and hypothetical workplace scenarios, a bit more serious. Finally, a brief 15-minute call with an upper manager seemed to be a personality fit check, very casual. What stood out was the absence of in-person meetings, and even after being hired, I haven't met my managers or colleagues face-to-face, which I appreciate as it meant my appearance wasn't a factor in getting the job. They also skipped any skill assessment tests, which was a bold move that paid off.

I applied online and was given options for an interview date and time, I chose what was most convenient for me. The interview went smoothly. I interviewed with another applicant and was hired the same day, getting notified through email very shortly after. The interview was mainly a brief description of what Bite Squad is, and how it works, along with typical interview questions. I personally feel the interview was more of feeling for the right fit in the applicants, such as how the applicant's personality and presentation suits this customer service based industry, if the applicant seems dependable and serious about the position, and if the applicant can become a valuable member on the Bite Squad force. As long as the applicant is seriously looking for a better job opportunity in the food delivery business, I feel that getting hired should be fairly easy.
