The interview was about 90 minutes long. It covered C++ concepts like OOP, data structures, memory management, and operating systems. There was also a coding problem involving linked lists and pointers at the end. Some time was spent discussing my background and projects.

They had a technical screen and then a homework assignment where I had to implement a directory sync program based on a spec. After that, there was a live assessment for the homework. I got good feedback and they said they wanted me on the team, but would reach out with an offer in a couple of weeks due to budget stuff. They did reach out, but after a month, saying they went with another candidate. So, it was a long interview process that felt like a waste of time and wasn't really an objective evaluation. Plus, the company doesn't seem very stable or trustworthy. It seems like a place with issues and I wouldn't recommend it.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you answer some basic questions about object-oriented programming?
  • Can you discuss some common multithreading concepts?
  • Please implement a directory synchronization program based on the provided specifications.

So first up was an HR phone screening, then we moved on to two technical interviews. The first one was about an hour long. We did an intro chat, talked about my resume projects, and then I had two technical questions. One was a DSA problem in C++ and the other was a problem-solving task in Python. The second interview was longer, a few hours actually, and it was like a work simulation on a complex project. They really wanted to see deep understanding of DSA, OOP, and OS concepts.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you explain how to initialize, traverse, and manipulate linked lists?
  • Write C++ code to solve a DSA problem without using the internet or any resources.
  • Can you complete this problem-solving task in Python, you can use the internet and any resources, just focus on getting it right.
