First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Birkenstock.
Sales Assistant
Had a nice chat with two managers. They asked standard questions and some of their own. I had lots of time to ask questions. It felt pretty informal and friendly. They gave off a good vibe. They did ask some cliche questions like about weaknesses and strengths. The only thing is I felt that they were not 100% clear about what they were looking for and I would have answered the questions differently if it had been clear.
- How would you handle customers?
Supply Chain Manager
It was a friendly chat where a job-specific process question was asked to check if the requirements could be met. There was no business case or anything like that. I explained my resume and how I came to apply for the job.
- I cannot specify this.
- Could you walk me through your resume?
- Tell me about your journey to applying for this role.
Recruiter
It was around 2 months, with a few meetings with HM, team and BP. Birkenstock has a final in person meeting in one of the locations: Cologne or Munich. The process can take from 1 month to 3 months.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What about your experience is relevant to this role?
- What are you looking for from this company?
Human Resources Specialist
It started out fine. But then the hiring manager wasn't very nice and asked a bunch of really basic, simple questions about Outlook and MS Office, which didn't seem relevant. Overall, the interview was pretty dull.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you the right fit for this role?
