First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Birdeye.
Sales Development Representative
It had about 3 rounds, the whole thing felt a little rushed and the interviewer was difficult to work with. It's clear I was hired to fill a position left by someone else and the business turnover is pretty high. The interviewer was unprofessional and impolite.
- Can you tell me about the challenges you've encountered in past positions?
Sales Development Representative
So my interview process was a bit different than how they normally do things, it was an exception. I first talked to the head recruiter Ryan (he's awesome!), then I met the Director, after that I met two team members and then finished with a chat with the VP. I got an offer shortly after.
- In relation to this role, how does your past experience apply?
- Can you describe your accomplishments?
- Can you share a time you absolutely crushed your quotas?
Sales Development Representative
I had a phone interview, then an assessment, and then I interviewed in person with 3 different people. The work environment seemed fun. The interview was relaxed but had some tough questions. They really want people with a great work ethic, drive, and related experience is a big plus, though not a requirement.
- Regarding cold calling, what common objections do you encounter and what are your strategies for overcoming them?
