First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Birch Family Services.
Intern
It was pretty easy, mostly behavioral questions. Nothing too hard or challenging, they just wanted to learn more about me and see if I'd fit the team and the job. It was a good vibe.
- What do you know about us?
Special Education Teacher
I was interviewed a few years ago by a principal that isn't working there anymore. Having said that, the new principal is trying his best to improve things. The rest is just fill in because glassdoor expects a minimum of 50 words which is really ridiculous but if they insist then I woll write a run on sentence for as long as it takes.
- Can you tell me about your certifications?
Occupational Therapist
I spoke with HR and the related service coordinator. They asked me about treatment approaches and behavior management. It was a very friendly and welcoming environment. HR also discussed the job requirements, paperwork, and benefits.
- Could you describe how you would manage tantrum behaviors?
- What are your strategies for utilizing positive reinforcement?
Intake Specialist
The interview process was smooth and straightforward. The HR manager explained how the interview process worked and also informed about next steps after the first interview. Staff was friendly and willing to answer questions without being hurried.
- Tell me about your experience in this area.
