Had an intro call with a recruiter, which went well. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. It started off okay, with typical questions about me and my job. But by the end, the manager seemed disinterested in my questions and was looking away a lot.

The interview process was lengthy but ultimately helpful. The BDR recruiter, Ashley, was instrumental in my preparation, dedicating time to address all my inquiries. I viewed the interview experience positively due to the opportunity to interact with numerous individuals.

Behavioral Other

My experience with BioRender was disappointing. After a basic phone interview with the recruiter, I was told I wouldn't move on. No specific reasons were given, which makes me wonder about bias due to ethnicity and accent. The lack of transparency is concerning given my qualifications and interest. This makes me question their commitment to fair hiring and their diversity and inclusion practices.
