Phlebotomist
Applied online. Got a phone interview the next day from a recruitment office out of state. They were keen because I had experience. They said they'd call back to set up a one-on-one in-person interview. I missed their call and had to call them back a few times, but they didn't answer or call back. After a few days, they finally called to schedule the one-on-one. Had the interview, lasted about 45 mins. It was basic, standard interview questions. I had lots of experience and was very flexible. They said they'd inform the recruiting office and call back ASAP with their findings. After several days, no word. After several weeks, still no word. They ghosted me. Super unprofessional. Who are the unprofessionals now? Wouldn't suggest them!

Testing Technologist
I applied online and after 3 weeks, I got an email with a PIN and phone number for a pre-recorded interview. About 2 months after that, I had a phone interview that lasted about 10 minutes. Two weeks later, they invited me for an in-person interview at Grifols. During that interview, I realized the interviewer wasn't my direct supervisor, which felt a bit off. About 1.5 months after that first in-person interview, I had a second in-person interview with the actual supervisor. They said I'd hear back within a week. I'm still waiting to hear back. The interviews were pretty relaxed. The first in-person interview included a lab tour and meeting some staff. The second one was a more detailed lab tour, and the supervisor was nice and made a good impression. I'm hoping to get the job. I also read that a drug test is usually given on the same day as the offer.
- What would be your response if you observed an employee acting inappropriately?
- Describe the process for creating a 9X dilution.
- Could you discuss common laboratory equipment such as pipettes?
Phlebotomist
Hired from out of state. First interview was a phone interview, 12-24 hours after completing application online. Phone interview was very vague, no specifics really. I remember I was asked about my references and what they'd say. I told the interviewer. The interview had already contacted my references and told me they'd said good things (no surprises there). Next step was an in person interview set around my schedule to travel there (a month or so out), no questions were asked, it was not a sitdown formal interview. It was a forum for me to see the center and meet the managers. At end of in person interview, I was offered the position and sent to drug test. I never felt challenged during the interview process.
- What do you think your references would say about you?
Donor Support Technician
The hiring process was pretty quick. I applied online on a Thursday, and by the next Monday, I got an email from Grifols to set up a phone interview. That happened the day after. Then they invited me for a face-to-face interview later that week. The interview itself was fine, though I was a bit nervous because there were about 7 people interviewing me all at once. They mostly asked about my previous experience. I got an email on my way home saying they wanted to move forward with me.
- Are you planning to go back to school?
