& Process

I applied online and then HR reached out. First was a 30-minute HR call about my background and if I was interested. Then a 30-minute call with the head of Strategy, going over my experience and the role details. She was nice but vague about the day-to-day, things seem unclear. The superday was in person. I was supposed to meet 4 people, but one didn't show up and I waited 30 mins with no info. My first meeting was with the creative team lead about his job and my background. The second was with the medical group head, who asked about my therapeutic knowledge, especially oncology. The third was another chat with the strategy group head. She still wasn't clear on what I'd be doing. I didn't hear back for a while even after following up. Finally, another HR person contacted me to say I was rejected. I got a better offer elsewhere in the meantime. The whole process was unorganized and it was rude not to let me know about the rejection sooner.

It started with a standard HR pre-screen. Then I met with two different teams, about 3 people on each team per round. The first round went really well, so they invited me back about a week later to meet with more team members. I thought that was it and I had a good chance at an offer. But then there was silence for over a week. After that, HR called saying they were still interested. They wanted me to come back a THIRD time to meet with more people, including Kristin, and one person I'd met before. The whole thing took more than a month. They eventually made an offer, which was quite good, but by then I had already looked at other companies and accepted a different offer. I felt the process dragged on for too long.

I got referred by someone I knew and HR/recruiter called me a few days later for a phone screen. I waited two months with no response, then the same HR/recruiter called me back about the same job, but for a different team. I went in the next week and met three people from the team for 30 mins each. It was super awkward. I met the accounts director, creative director, and a senior account executive. They didn't really ask me anything, and the creative director just stared at me. The senior account exec's phone rang like 6 times. Didn't get good vibes, felt unprofessional. Even if they offered, I wouldn't have taken it.

I submitted my resume through the career portal and got a call from HR. First, I had a phone interview with the senior VP. Then, I was asked to do a small freelance project before a formal interview with the account and creative leads. The recruiter seemed very pushy and unsure how my background fit the job description.
