First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Biolife.
Laboratory Technician
The interview was computer-based and the people were interesting. They genuinely care about people's health. I'm hoping for a chance to work there and achieve my goals of helping people live healthier lives.
- Tell me about a time you faced an unusual situation and the impact you had.
- What actions did you take to address it?
PCT/CNA
I did an online interview where I recorded my answers to some questions, and then I got an email for an in-person interview. The in-person interview was scheduled for the next week and lasted about 45 minutes.
- Tell me about a situation and what you would do.
- Describe a time you faced a challenging situation and how you handled it.
- How would you approach a scenario where you had to manage multiple patient needs simultaneously?
Human Resources
I had a video interview, but after reaching out twice, I never heard back from the recruiter. It's disappointing not to get a follow-up after an interview. Companies should consider the impression this leaves on candidates.
- Can you describe what a typical workday looks like for you?
Phlebotomist
They asked me some questions about blood and plasma, and also about safety. Then they asked me about my character, how I deal with stress, why I want to work there, and how long I see myself staying.
- What is your preferred working pace?
