First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BioIVT.
Business Development Associate
I applied via LinkedIn and my profile was noticed. First, I had a call with HR which went good. Later that same day, she set up an interview with the hiring manager for me, to be held in 3 days. The interview with the Hiring Manager, who's also the Senior Director of business, was good, really chill and easy talk. He mentioned the next round would be with the BD Managers, so I'm waiting for that.

Business Development Executive
Got the interview through a referral and moved quickly to the team interview, which was mostly a quick 45 minutes. After the interview, both the hiring manager and HR ghosted me without any update, even though I asked for feedback.
- What makes BIOIVT unique?
Sourcing Specialist
The interview process was good. It started with a phone screen with general questions. Then I came into the office for an interview where I was interviewed by 3 people at the same time. It was a good and fair interview. Information about the position that helped me: Sourcing Specialist 1) Provide customer service with information from customer requests for non-standard products. Ensure that all sourcing requests are worked on within 2 hours of receipt (or first thing next day) on the sourcing document. 2) Find new sources of material for requests by customers. Be able to think creatively in order to fill customer’s requirements 3) Aggressively follow up with vendors regarding orders that are taking long time to fill and provide updates to customer service for customers. 4) Utilize inventory system to ensure material in stock is used before sourcing additional material 5) Ensure that if source cannot be found within 48 hours of request, the request is escalated to senior management for additional support 6) Check FedEx first thing each morning to track incoming and outgoing packages. Alert Ops team, lab, and shipping of relevant delays. Aggressively contact FedEx to find boxes and facilitate deliveries throughout the day when necessary. 7) Work with Operations team to inform customers about potential delays. 8) Support Operations team to provide lead times for shipments
- How can your past experience help you with this role?
General Manager
The interviewers were nice and asked good questions. They explained the job and the business well. It began with a recruiter and then went on to senior managers. I didn't get the job, but the recruiter gave me feedback afterward.
